Learn the basic techniques of throwing on the wheel.  Focus: Functional pottery such as cups and bowls.  This is a challenging, yet very rewarding medium and approach to creating pottery.  No experience needed.

Marcus Acevedo is a local artist and instructor at Onondaga Community College.  He received his Bachelors at Brigham Young University and his Master at Alfred State University.  He just returned from a visiting artist position at BYU.
